I’ve owned at least six pairs of Arch Fit and other Skechers models, so I have a good frame of reference. When I first tried these on, I noticed the heels felt a bit loose and slippery. However, after tightening the laces from the bottom up, the fit improved dramatically, and now the heels are very stable.

I wanted to leave a review for these shoes because Amazon tends to display older reviews rather than more recent ones. There aren’t many balanced critiques; most reviews are either extreme praise or harsh criticism. So here’s my take.
After years of wearing TredSafe shoes due to budget constraints, I decided to invest in these shoes, hoping they would work out. I noticed several reviews mentioning durability issues, but they came highly recommended, so I took the plunge.
Durability: Honestly, some reviewers must have done something extreme to their shoes because mine have held up remarkably well. They’ve been accidentally kicked into old metal equipment and scraped against various surfaces without any significant damage. The only issue I encountered was a screw I stepped on that left a hole in the bottom, but it didn’t hurt my foot, so no big deal.
Comfort: Memory foam can be hit or miss, but I find the cushioning in these shoes to be decent. I’m on my feet a lot more in my new job compared to my old one, and these shoes provide good support for my 13W feet. Being tall may affect how the memory foam feels for me, and since I haven’t worn them long enough yet, your experience may vary. However, the overall support is solid, and my heels don’t hurt after long shifts like they did in my old, cheaper TredSafe shoes.
Fit: They fit as expected for a size 13W. My only minor complaint is the lack of room for inserts. I tend to put more pressure on the front of my feet, and I wish there was space for additional support. If you walk normally, you should be just fine.
Other notes: A minor issue is the squeaking when the bottoms get wet. It’s not the typical basketball court squeak—more like a twisting leather sound. They dry quickly, so it’s not a persistent problem.
Overall, I’d give them four stars. They’re durable and withstand a lot of wear. I keep expecting them to show signs of tearing, but aside from the screw hole, they look great. The main drawbacks are the memory foam’s incompatibility with inserts, lack of front support for my unique walking style, and the annoying squeak when wet. Still, they’re a solid shoe and worth the investment.

I just bought a second pair since my first pair is finally showing signs of wear after almost three years of use in various settings. They’ve held up remarkably well, considering how much I’ve put them through. I decided to purchase the new pair while they were on sale.
I did wear out the memory foam pretty quickly (again, my walking style might be a factor), but replacing it with new inserts was straightforward. I’d recommend sticking with memory foam for replacements, as other support inserts didn’t offer much help given the shoe’s own support.
In summary, you really have to try hard to wear these shoes out. For lasting three years, they’ve performed exceptionally well. They remain comfortable, provide good support, and still squeak when wet, but I definitely believe they’re worth the price, sale or not.
